Vikki Lee, RN

Vikki Lee, RN, CCHC is a visionary healthcare leader, educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose work continues to transform lives across Louisiana. As the Founder and Lead Instructor of Rosebud Healthcare & Training Academy, Vikki has dedicated her career to empowering individuals through healthcare, education, and service.

With more than 19 years of nursing experience, Vikki has served across multiple areas of healthcare, including medical-surgical nursing, cardiology, behavioral health, geriatrics, and developmental disability care. Her passion for patient care and workforce development inspired her to create organizations that not only provide healthcare services, but also open doors for individuals pursuing meaningful careers in healthcare.

Under her leadership, Rosebud Healthcare and Rosebud Training Academy have become trusted pillars within the community—offering healthcare training, CPR and certification programs, workforce development initiatives, consulting services, and mentorship opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals throughout Louisiana.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Vikki is deeply committed to community leadership and advocacy. She serves on several boards and advisory committees, including Baton Rouge STEM, Women of Unity, NBR Now, the Scotlandville Area Foundation, and Jess’ Bra Closet. She has also contributed her expertise through Mayor Sharon Weston Broome’s MedBR Advisory Committee and Behavioral Health Task Force, as well as Mayor Darnell Waite’s Public Safety Task Force.

Vikki also serves as the Medical Clearance Director for the Love Impact Coalition Free Clinic, helping provide free medical, dental, and vision services to underserved communities across Louisiana. Through this work, she continues to expand access to quality healthcare while advocating for those most in need.
In addition, she is the Founder and President of Rosebuds, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving underserved communities through health initiatives, outreach programs, food distributions, homeless support services, educational events, and youth empowerment activities.

Her outstanding leadership and service have earned her numerous honors and recognitions, including the 2026 Trailblazing Women of the Year Award by Cumulus Media, the 2026 AHA Impact Woman of the Year nomination, the 2025 FranU Alumni of Distinction Award, the 2025 “I AM That Girl” Honoree recognition, the 2024 City of Baker Mayor’s Coin, the 2024 Delta Development Corporation Community Service Award, and the 2024 100 Black Men Appreciation Award, among many others.
