Dr. Nicole Thomas, DNP, RN, CCM

After experiencing subpar healthcare outcomes as a child, Dr. Nicole Thomas, DNP,RN,CCM made it her life’s mission to positively impact all recipients of the healthcare system.

Dr. Thomas is the founder and principal consultant of Impact Nurse Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm founded in 2015. She also serves as director of operations and co-creator of Love Impact Coalition, which has provided roughly $5 million in free medical, dental, and vision services to over 7,000 people across Louisiana since 2018.

She has led as a nurse-leader, associate director, and educator for Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Thomas led a Fortune 7 managed care organization during Louisiana Medicaid’s transition to managed care, resulting in an 27% increase in patient health outcomes and $3.2 million in annual cost-savings during her tenure.

Dr. Thomas is the author of the best-selling book “In Health On Purpose: Awakening Your True Calling In The Healthcare Profession” and has been featured in Black Enterprise, Rolling Out, and Scrubs Magazine. She is co-founder of The Nurse Power Network, which has helped over 20,000 nurses expand in their roles as healthcare professionals.
