Ebonie Farlow-Edwards
Volunteer Director
Ebonie Farlow-Edwards is the Founder and CEO of Compassion Design, a Louisiana-based branding,
marketing, and digital strategy agency that serves as a Digital Infrastructure Partner for businesses, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. Since founding the company in 2017, Ebonie has led the development of thousands of creative and strategic projects, helping organizations strengthen their visibility, streamline their digital presence, and build the systems needed to support long-term growth.
What began as a passion for graphic design and brand storytelling quickly evolved into a broader mission.
Through her work with community organizations, small businesses, and leadership teams, Ebonie recognized that many brands were not lacking talent or vision, they were lacking structure, strategy, and digital infrastructure. This realization shaped the direction of Compassion Design into a firm that goes beyond marketing to help clients build cohesive ecosystems that support communication, operations, and scalable growth.
Under her leadership, Compassion Design has partnered with law firms, healthcare organizations, political
leaders, nonprofits, educational institutions, and entrepreneurs across Louisiana and beyond. The agency is
known for combining creativity with strategy, and for helping clients turn ideas into clear, executable plans
supported by strong branding, effective digital tools, and intentional messaging.
In addition to her work as an agency owner, Ebonie remains actively involved in community initiatives,
leadership development, and collaborative projects that support economic growth, education, and nonprofit impact throughout Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Her work often intersects with advocacy, public service, and mission-driven campaigns that require both strategic communication and thoughtful execution.
Ebonie’s leadership and creative contributions have earned multiple recognitions, including being featured in Rebel Magazine (2026) and Voyage Dallas Magazine, selection as a Current Invested Faith Fellow, receiving a Certificate of Recommendation from former Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Weston Broome (2024), being honored with the 2024 GEAUX Create Award for Multimedia and Interactive Creative of the Year, and receiving the 2023 Set Free Phoenix Award for advocacy and campaign work supporting mental health initiatives in Baton Rouge.
Ebonie is recognized for her ability to connect vision with execution, bringing together people, ideas, and digital strategy to create meaningful results. Through Compassion Design, she continues to help leaders and organizations build with intention, strengthen their digital infrastructure, and show up in the world with clarity, purpose, and impact.
